Why SOL Exists — And Why It Will Change the Way You Choose What You Buy

Nobody shows you the lab results.

You can spend $40 on a bag of organic almonds, trust the certification on the label, feel good about the purchase — and have absolutely no idea what is actually in them. Not the heavy metals. Not the mold byproducts that form after harvest. Not the residues that survive the growing process and end up in the bag sitting in your kitchen right now.

The organic label tells you how it was grown. It tells you nothing about what ended up in it.

We thought that was worth looking into.

SOL exists because of one uncomfortable realization — we knew a lot about how products were made, and almost nothing about what they actually contained. We knew what certifications meant. We knew which labels to trust. What we did not know was what ended up in the product after growing, processing, packaging, and shipping.

Nobody was showing us that. So we decided to find out ourselves.

What most people get wrong about organic.

Organic does not mean no toxins. It certifies the farming process — the practices used to grow the product. What it does not certify is what formed on that product after harvest, or what accumulated in the soil it grew in, or what ended up in the final bag you bring home.

Aflatoxin — one of the most potent natural carcinogens on earth — forms on nuts and grains after harvest during storage and transport. Long after the organic certification was earned. Heavy metals accumulate in soil over decades and absorb into crops regardless of how responsibly they were farmed.

Your organic almonds can be genuinely, legitimately certified organic and still contain either of those things. The certification would never tell you.

This is what SOL is.

We test products. We publish exactly what we find — good results and bad. When our research shows the market is failing people we build a better option. Every SOL product only ships when the batch test passes our threshold. We publish those results too.

No certifications. No clean labels. Just the actual numbers.

We are just getting started. There is a lot we still do not know. But we are finding out — and we are taking you with us.

The label tells you how it was made. We will show you what is actually in it.
